We are a community of parents and players who love baseball and softball. Join us as we create the building blocks of great ballplayers and even better people!

Our Mission

We believe our approach makes us the overall best place to play baseball/softball in the Tampa Bay region. Youth from every demographic, of varying abilities, and from all throughout our boundary area play in our league. Our main objectives are to develop kids’ baseball/softball skills through proper coaching in a positive fashion, have balanced teams with kids of varying abilities on each team, enable youth make new and lasting friendships and, most importantly, to make sure the kids have fun all along the way.

We offer playing opportunities for boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten through Middle School. To enhance the overall experience, there is Opening Day festivities, post-season tournaments, league champion tournaments, and All-Star tournaments. Our games are played on a variety of fields throughout Tampa.  All of this is offered at an affordable price, making what we believe to be an unbeatable value in youth sports in Tampa.

Belmont Heights Little League is a nonprofit group chartered by Little League International.  The majority of our volunteers are parents with kids in the league and all parents are expected to volunteer in some way. Little League International sets the following expectation for parents with children participating in little league- “Parents must take some initiative to make the local program successful.”  Our success has been based on the hard work of our volunteers, led by a local Board of Directors who are also all volunteers. Come join us at the ball field!

Our Vision

Belmont Heights Little League’s (BHLL) vision is to help impart life lessons with the the children of our community while continually demonstrating the ideals and qualities of good sportsmanship through:

      Teamwork, and discipline

      Honesty and loyalty

      Courage and respect for authority

So that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children.  To achieve this objective, the Belmont Heights Little League volunteers will provide a supervised program of competitive baseball and softball in which every athlete regardless of skill level:

      Is well coached
      Has fun playing the game
Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player
Learns “life lessons” that have value beyond the playing field
